Male appointed Vatukoula coach

Fiji Warriors coach and Assistant Coach of the Flying Fijians, Inoke Male has been appointed as the new coach of the Vatukoula Gold Mine Rugby Team.

Male, who has been a prominent figure in the Fiji Rugby arena, joins Vatukoula Gold Mine’s rugby team from July 1 2010 in time for the build up to the B Division championship starting in August.

Vatukoula Gold Mine General Manager, Bert Leathley said that he has discussed with Male that he is serious about development of rugby in Vatukoula and wants to see the team progress to the A Division by the end of the 2010 rugby season.

Male was in Vatukoula on Wednesday and met with team officials at Theodore Park to discuss the way forward for Vatukoula Rugby.
