Malani yet to join Fiji Swimming Team for the Pacific Games

2014 Fiji Sportsman of the Year Meli Malani is yet to join the Fiji Swimming Team for the Pacific Games.

Fiji Swimming Head Coach, Sharon Smith says Malani is still training in America and will be joining the team soon.

Smith says New Caledonia will be Fiji’s strongest competitor as they have a lot of French based swimmers.

The Fiji Swimming team to the Pacific Games is made up of 21 swimmers include Caroline Puamau who is making a comeback in this Games, Matelita Buadromo, Douglas Miller, Tieri Erasito, Paul Elaisa and Carl Probert.

The Pacific Games will be held from the 4th to the 18th of July in Papua New Guinea.
