Nadi’s Prince Charles Park will host a major soccer tournament for the first time since 2013 after Fiji FA confirmed that they will be hosting this years Courts IDC.
Fiji FA CEO Mohammed Yusuf says that they have decided to take the tournament to Nadi after being assured by the grounds committee that the lights and ground conditions will be up to par as per requirements.
He says that this was the reason why there has been no tournament held in Nadi for the past 7 years.
Yusuf also says that the venue will have two grounds available to accommodate for the Senior Division teams.
The last time any major soccer tournament was held at Prince Charles Park was the 2013 Fiji Fact where Nadi beat Ba 3-1 in the final.
The Courts IDC will be played between the 8th to the 13th of October.
Lautoka are the defending champions of the tournament after they beat suva 1-0 in the final last year at the Anz National Stadium.
