Fiji born Eels winger Maika Sivo scored two tries last night for the Eels but this was not enough as his side went down 32-18 to the Sydney Roosters.
Sivo was one of the Parramatta’s best, along with prop Junior Paulo, who set up two of his team’s three tries with a powerhouse performance.
But it wasn’t enough as the Rooster’s came to life with a dominant final quarter.
James Tedesco, who was arguably the Roosters’ best, put the icing on the cake scoring two tries to help his side to their second win.
In another NRL match played last night, the Canberra Raiders defeated the Knights 17-10.
Today the Sea Eagles will meet the Warriors at 4pm, the Cowboys take on the Sharks at 6.30pm while the Panthers will meet the Storm at 8.35pm.
