As the Vodafone Flying Fijians touched down in Melbourne last night, prop Campese Ma’afu is looking forward to the battle up front with one of the best teams in the world.
Being part of the tight five that faced the Wallabies at the 2015 Rugby World Cup, Ma’afu believes that it will be a challenge and an experience with a lot of new faces in the team.
Ma’afu injured his forearm during the test against England in November last year and was under rehab for three months.
Meanwhile the Wallabies are expected to have Reece Hodge and Tevita Kuridrani in the midfield after Samu Kerevi was injured last weekend.
Wallabies coach Michael Cheika announced that Rob Horne and Jake Gordon would join the Wallabies squad to cover the injuries of Kerevi and halfback Nick Phipps.
The Wallabies will host the Flying Fijians at 5pm Saturday in Melbourne.
