Liverpool remain Premier League leaders after beating Newcastle 3-1

Premier League leaders, Liverpool maintained their 100% start to the season as they beat Newcastle 3-1.

The Reds have now won 14 league games in a row in a run that stretches back to a draw at Everton in March.

In another match played this morning, Manchester City was handed their first defeat in the league at the hands of Norwich City 3-2.

Manchester United beat Leicester 1-0, Tottenham beat Crystal Palace 4-0 while Chelsea beat Wolves 5-2.

In the La Liga, Eden Hazard made his Real Madrid debut and Karim Benzema scored twice as Real Madrid beat Levante 3-2.

In another La Liga match Barcelona is beat Valencia 5-2.
