Lautoka soccer team only 4 wins away from claiming VPL title

The Lautoka soccer team is four wins away from winning the Vodafone Premier League title after eight years.

The Blues lead the points table with 22 points and now has the advantage of hosting the next four matches which will be against Rakiraki, Dreketi, Labasa and Suva.

The side will play its last two matches against Ba and Rewa.

Lautoka is seven points clear of Suva who are second on the table.

Lautoka will also hope that Suva and third placed Rewa drop points in their tour to the Northern Division this week.

If this happens, then Lautoka may only need wins in their next three matches to win the League title.

Lautoka will face Rakiraki at 3pm this Sunday at Churchill Park.
