Lautoka soccer team has received a major boost ahead of the OFC Champions League

The Lautoka soccer team has received a major boost ahead of the OFC Champions League final as the side has been promised a $50,000 bonus from major sponsors Vodafone Fiji Limited should they create history in winning the title at Churchill Park next Sunday.

Lautoka Football Association President, Abdul Kadar says this will lift the morale in the team.

Vodafone’s Chief Marketing Officer, Rajnesh Prasad they have already contributed $70,000 towards the preparation of the matches for Lautoka and another $50,000 will be given if the team wins the OFC Champions League.

The first leg of the OFC Champions League final between Lautoka and Team Wellington will kick off at 2pm Sunday in Wellington.

The second leg will be played at 3pm next Sunday at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
