An eight‑men Lautoka side and AS Central Sport finished their OFC Champions’ League group match in a 2‑all draw in Churchill Park, Lautoka.
AS Central has qualified into the quarters of the OFC Champions League while Lautoka finished third in the group matches with 4 points.
Lautoka could not execute the win despite having home ground advantage and had poor form of discipline copping three red cards.
The Kamal Swamy coached side lost Bong Kalo and Dave Radrigai in the first‑half and Afraz Ali in the second‑half for foul play.
Swamy says the team was affected as they played with less players.
AS Central scored the first goal in the 11th minute of play and took the lead 1‑0, but scored an own goal in the 18th minute allowing Lautoka to equalise 1‑1.
Lautoka’s Benjamin Totori scored in the 38th minute which put Lautoka in the lead 2‑1.
Lautoka was leading 2‑1 at half time.
AS Central did not miss an opportunity to equalise, as the squared up 2 all in the second half.
Meanwhile, Henderson Eels FC have defeated Morobe Wawens 7‑0 in their group match in the OFC Champions.
Henderson Eels FC have qualified to the quarters with 6 points and 7 goal differential.
