Lautoka Athletics Meet to be held at newly renovated Churchill Park

The Lautoka Zone School Athletics Meet will be held at the newly renovated Churchill Park this Friday and Saturday.

This is the first time for the zone to be held on the synthetic tracks.

The Lautoka Zone includes the Coca Cola Games girls champions Jasper Williams High School and former boys champion Natabua High School.

Lautoka Secondary Schools Athletics President Lionel Danford says they are excited to have a running track which has been their dream for many years.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama is expected to officially open the newly renovated Churchill Park at 2pm tomorrow.

Meanwhile the Tavua/Vatukoula/ Ra, Triple N, Ba, Macuata 1 and 2, Savusavu and Taveuni zones will be held on Thursday and Friday.
