Labasa soccer team beats Fiji U20 in friendly

The Labasa soccer team has settled well in Viti Levu after registering a 2-1 win against the Vodafone Fiji Under 20 soccer team in a friendly match this afternoon.

Taniela Waqa and Jesoni Takala scored for Labasa.

Coach, Bal Sanju Reddy said they have prepared well for the Vodafone Fiji Fact.

The Babasiga Lions will have players like Akuila Mataisuva, Ravinesh Karan Singh, Ilisoni Logaivou, Taione Kerevanua, Taniela Waqa and Posiano Kalisito.

Labasa will play Tailevu Naitasiri at 2pm this Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park.

At 4pm, Suva will face Rewa.

In the matches at Govind Park, Nadi will play Nadroga at 2pm while Lautoka will take on Ba at 4pm.
