Labasa first team to qualify for IDC semifinals

Labasa is the first team to qualify for the Courts IDC semifinals after they held Nadroga 1-1 in their final pool match at the ANZ Stadium.

Edwin Sahayam scored for the northerners in the 15th minute of the second half but Nadroga managed to equalise through Jeshal Kumar from the penalty spot.

In the first premier match today, Rewa defeated Dreketi 1-0 in their last group B match.

Iosefo Verevou scored Rewa’s lone goal in the last minute of the game.

Rewa now has four points and the Delta Tigers will now hope that Ba defeats Nadi by two clear goals for them to progress to the semifinals.

The Ba and Nadi match is underway and Nadi is currently leading the Men in Black 1-0.

Ba and Nadi will progress to the semifinals if this match ends in a draw.

Ba and Nadi have four points each.

Meanwhile the last match of the day between  will go down to the wire when Lautoka and Suva will clash at 7pm as the hosts just needs a draw to qualify for the semifinals from Group A while Lautoka is in a must win situation.
