Labasa crowned new champions of U14 Fiji Primary Schools Football Championship

Labasa is the new champion of the Under 14 grade of the Vodafone Fiji Primary Schools Football Championship.

Labasa beat Nadi 5-4 in penalties in the final this afternoon at Prince Charles Park.

Labasa and Nadi were locked at 1-all at full time and both teams failed to get the winner in the extra time.

Aman Lal scored a goal for Labasa while Sohil Kumar scored a goal for Nadi in the normal play.

Labasa has been awarded with a trophy, medals and $500 prize money.

Sohil Kumar of Nadi was declared the player of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Rewa won the under 12 title after beating Labasa 1‑0.

Rewa was awarded with trophy, medals and $300 prize money.

Revank Reddy of Labasa was announced as the best player of the  Under 12 grade.
