Labasa beats Tavua 2-1 in their second group match of Courts IDC

The Labasa soccer team had to come from a goal behind to beat Tavua 2-1 in their second group match of the Courts IDC.

Marika Rawasoi had given Tavua a 1-0 lead in the first half  before goals from Dennis Ifunaoa and Antonio Tuivuna in the second half sealed the three points for the Babasiga Lions.

The win sees Labasa lead Pool A with four points, one ahead of second placed Ba who take on Lautoka in today's last match while Tavua are now the first team to have been eliminated from the tournament.

Meanwhile, Suva will play Nasinu at this hour, Nadi will take on Rewa at 6pm while Lautoka will play Ba at 8pm.
