Australian based Vanisha Kumar has high hopes of playing for the Fiji womens soccer team.
15-year-old Kumar is currently in camp in Suva with the National Womens team preparing for the Oceania Nations Cup that will be held in October in New Zealand.
Kumar who plays in the Womens Premier League competition for Marconi Stallions in Australia said she was encouraged by her father to take up the sport soccer.
She is schooling at Westfields Sports High School, where League Star Jarryd Hayne and Socceroos International Harry Kewell went to.
Kumar's dad Vijay Kumar who is originally from Lautoka and now residing in Australia, said he wanted his daughter to play for Fiji.
The Fiji womens soccer team will be in camp till this weekend.
