Wallabies wing, Marika Koroibete says his aim now is to get his game fitness right and hopefully play against the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians in their Rugby World Cup opener next Saturday.
Koroibete was at his best against Samoa last Saturday as he beat four defenders to score the Wallabies second try in the corner.
Speaking to rugby.com.au, Koroibete says in terms of impressive individual performances in a Rugby World Cup he has looked up to Flying Fijians wing Rupeni Caucaunibuca.
Koroibete says his favourite game was Fiji vs Scotland in the 2003 Rugby World Cup when Caucaunibuca scored an impressive try in the corner.
Koroibete is also sending his well wishes to the Flying Fijians particularly Levani Botia.
Fiji’s first match is against the Wallabies at 4.45pm next Saturday.
