Kitione Taliga wins Vancouver 7s Impact Player award

Vodafone Fiji 7s playmaker Kitione Taliga won the DHL Impact Player of Vancouver 7s.

Taliga was outstanding in Las Vegas and Vancouver, achieving some huge stats across the two day tournament in Vancouver.

The former Ratu Navula College student scored a crucial try in the Cup quarter final against USA to secure his side a place in the semis.

Taliga finished second in post tries scored in Vancouver with 7 but tops the points with 55.

The 22 year old from Dratabu village, Nadi was impressive, filling the vacuum left by ace playmaker Vatemo Ravouvou.

He made 13 tackles, 9 clean breaks, made 26 carries and five offloads.
