Kinisimere Bote wins first Gold medal at Lautoka Zone

Kinisimere Bote of Magodro Junior Secondary School won the first Gold medal at the Lautoka Athletics Zone after she claimed the Open Girls 1500m race.

Kinisimere Bote of Magodro Junior Secondary School won the first Gold medal at the Lautoka Athletics Zone after she claimed the Open Girls 1500m race.

She clocked a manual time of 5 minutes 22 seconds.

Bote who is a Year 9 student will be run in the 3000m event tomorrow. 

Meanwhile, the Junior Boys 1500m final is currently underway at Churchill Park.
