Children as young as 5-years-old met and greeted their Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s heroes yesterday in Albert Park as the team continue preparations for the Hamilton 7s later this month.
The boys and girls are part of a back to school clinic program by Rugby Academy Fiji.
The national 7s squad members brought smiles to the children and they were even involved in a light training session with the young children.
Rugby Academy says the aim of the clinic is to build confidence and social skills in the children, improve their techniques and develop their game understanding and build healthy bodies and mind and making new friends while having fun.
Day 2 of the Rugby Clinic and this day will be remembered for most of them as they train with the 🇫🇯 7s gladiators. Vinaka vakalevu Head Coach and Team 🇫🇯. All the best for the NZ 7s. #BeAnInspiration @pacificwelfare @oceaniarugby pic.twitter.com/OYxQsgxZ52
