Katonibau physically and mentally prepared for NZ 7s

Vodafone Fiji 7s player Isake Katonibau said he is physically and mentally prepared for his first outing in the New Zealand 7s.

Katonibau said this weekend’s tournament will be special for him.

The 31-year-old said he is already eager to get on the field.

The former Marist Brothers High School student said they have been working hard on a number of combinations.

The New Zealand 7s kicks off this Friday and Fiji will play Portugal at 12.03pm, face Wales at 2.58pm before taking on Australia at 5.54pm in their last pool game.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 12.28pm Saturday, the Cup semifinals will be at 4.12pm while the Cup final kicks off at 7.55pm Saturday.
