The Fiji Football Association has officially announced that Kamil Muslim College has been stripped of the Courts Inter District Secondary Schools Championship title for fielding an ineligible player.

Chief Executive Officer Bob Kumar said Saraswati College lodged a complaint regarding a player Mohammed Shazeel Junior who was ineligible to represent Kamil Muslim College.

Mohammed Shazeel Junior was already a university student.

Kamil Muslim College will be fined $1,200 and 25 percent of the fine will go to Saraswati College as per the bylaws of the Fiji Secondary Schools Football Association.

Kumar said the title will not go to Saraswati College since they filed a complaint but not protested about the issue.

He then said that there will be no winner in the 2015 Secondary School’s IDC as in a complaint, a team loses points but the other team does not get it.

Kamil Muslim College had defeated Saraswati College 2-0 in the final at Ratu Cakobau Park.
