Kamil Muslim College go in as top favorites of Secondary Schools Soccer

Kamil Muslim College will go in as one of the top favorites in the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Championship which kicks off this Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park.

Kamil’s Under 19 soccer team has qualified for the Championship as the Ba district winner after the side finished ahead of defending champions, Nukuloa College in their league competition.

Kamil’s Under 19 team also has Ba rep Amena Bola and the 2014 winners have been pooled with Shri Gurunanak Khalsa College, Natabua High School, Sigatoka Methodist High School and Vashist Muni College.

Meanwhile new winners will be crowned in the Under 17 and 15 grades as defending champions, Tavua College and Ba Sangam College have not qualified for this year’s Championship.

This year will also see 11 schools competing in the girls’ competition. Defending champions, A D Patel College is back to defend their title.

The Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Championship will be played from the 13th to 16th of this month in Nausori.
