Kamal Swamy has been appointed as the new Head Coach of Nadi Football team.
This has been confirmed by outgoing Nadi Football Association President Javed Ahmed.
Swamy has previously coached Nadi and was also the former Lautoka and Suva coach.
Ahmed has also confirmed that he will not be contesting for the position of the President in next months Annual General Meeting.
He says he has given the team 7 years of his life and it is time for someone else to take up the position.
He adds that team’s Senior Vice President, Yashwant Singh has shown interest for the position and will most likely be the new President after the AGM.
