The Queensland Maroons have named their team for Sunday night's State of Origin Game 2 against the NSW Blues.
20‑year‑old Newcastle Knights fullback Kalyn Ponga has been named to replace Anthony Milford in the 18‑man squad, with Billy Slater named despite still carrying the hamstring injury that ruled him out of game one.
Queensland will give prop Dylan Napa every chance of recovering from an ankle injury he suffered for the Roosters in round 15, with Tim Glasby on standby.
Michael Morgan played at fullback in game one but is out with a season‑ending biceps injury, while veteran Cowboys prop Matt Scott wasn't considered due to injury.
Meanwhile Tariq Sims has been included into the Blues 18 man squad as Reagan Campbell‑Gillard is ruled out after suffering a serious jaw injury in Penrith's loss to the Sydney Roosters on Friday night.
The Maroons will take on the NSW Blues at 9.40pm Sunday at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney.
