Kable wins gold in Sydney

Glenn Kable has won Gold at the 2011 Oceania Shooting Championships in Sydney and qualifies Fiji for an Olympic Quota Place.

Shooting is now the second sport to qualify on an athlete’s merit to represent Fiji at the London Olympic Games in 2012.

Glenn battled out in windy and overcast conditions throughout the last day of competition to take the edge over Australian Matthew Stokes who had a three shot lead of 119 heading into the final.
