Fiji's Joy " The Jet " Ali last night recorded another win at home beating Samoan Miki Lopati based on points decision.
Both boxers failed to live up to their words where they had each predicted an early finish to the main bout. Ali's experience gave him an edge against the Samoan, who had to rely on his guts to last the distance.
However, boxing fans witnessed some of the best fights as the top 4 bouts of the night all last the distance.
In the main supporting bout Samoan Afakasi Faumui defeated Abhay Chand on points decision.
Also the much awaited fight in the super light-weight between Waisale Ratu and Junior Farzan Ali lasted the full 6 rounds with Ali coming out winner by a split points decision.
Pita Tabuarua had to rely on his long reach to win on points decision against Nadi's Sailasa Moko.
