South African referee, Craig Joubert will officiate at the Rio Olympics in August.
Joubert who has a history of sevens officiating and returned to that arena with an eye on the Olympics is the most experienced referee on the panel.
His South African colleague Rasta Rasivhenge will referee men's and women's matches in Rio.
New Zealand rugby referees Nick Briant, Richard Kelly and Jess Beard are also heading to the Rio Olympics.
A panel of 12 men and 12 women will take charge of the matches at the Deodoro Stadium in Rio over the six days, with all officials coming from the World Rugby Sevens Series.
The sevens referees are managed by New Zealander Paddy O'Brien.
