The All Blacks utility back Jordie Barrett has been ruled out of the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury.
Barrett made his debut for the All Blacks against Samoa early this year and started at fullback in the final test against the British and Irish Lions.
The 20‑year‑old will require surgery and will not be back this year.
He has been replaced in the squad by Crusaders fullback David Havili who impressed in their title‑winning season.
The All Blacks will meet the Wallabies in the Bledisloe Cup opener at 10pm next Saturday in Sydney.
