Jasper Williams and Natabua High School wins Lautoka Athletics Zone

Jasper Williams High School and Natabua High School have retained their titles at the Lautoka Athletics Zone.

The girl division was won by Jasper Williams High School after getting 43 gold medals, 13 silver and 5 bronze medals.

Saint Thomas High School came second with 2 gold, 8 silver and 9 bronze while in third place was Natabua High School with 1 gold, 13 silver and 9 bronze.

In the boys division, defending champions Natabua High School successfully defended their title with 41 gold, 9 silver and 7 bronze.

In second place was Saint Thomas High School with 3 gold, 15 silver and 9 bronze while in third place was Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute with 2 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze.

The Tuvusa brothers dominated the 100 metres at the Lautoka Athletics Zone this morning.

2017 Blue Ribbon winner Shane Tuvusa of Natabua High School has won gold in the Senior Boys 100 meters final while his younger brother, Peni Tuvusa won gold in the Intermediate boys 100 meters final.

Shane Tuvusa also won the 200 metres Senior Boys final while Nemani Mudreilagi won the 200 metres Intermediate boys.

Atelaite Buna of Jasper Williams High School won gold in the Senior Girls 100 meters final while Adi Vika Bavui also from Jasper Williams High School claimed gold in the Intermediate Girls 100 metres final.

Akanisi Sokoiwasa of Jasper Williams High School won the Senior Girls 200 metres while Adi Vani Buleki won the Intermediate Girls 200 metres.
