Japan has won the prestigious World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup title defeating USA 34-20 this afternoon.
Japan’s captain Michael Leitch scored two tries while Kenki Fukuoka and Ryohei Yamanaka scored a try each.
Japans first five, Yu Tamura’s kicking skills was also instrumental in their win kicking four conversions and two penalties.
Japan led 20-13 at half time.
USA only managed to score two tries, one from Madison Hughes and the other from Hanco Jacobus Ernst Lodewikus Germishuys.
The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians are aiming for their 29th win against Samoa when they face off in the World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup at 7.15 tonight.
Fiji lead the head to head 28-20 with three draws.
