Israel Folau's brother John Folau has quit the New South Wales Waratahs less than three weeks after the Wallabies superstar had his multi‑million‑dollar contract with Rugby Australia torn up.
The Waratahs confirmed today that the backline utility would leave the franchise after requesting a release from his one‑year deal.
The 24‑year‑old former Parramatta NRL player did not play a match for the Waratahs, being named on the bench but not getting on against the Sunwolves earlier this season.
The Waratahs will face the Brumbies at 9.45pm Saturday.
Tomorrow, the Highlanders will host the Bulls at 7.35pm while the Reds will take on the Blues at 9.45pm.
The Crusaders will take on the Rebels at 7.35pm Saturday, while the Lions will face Hurricanes at 1.05am Sunday.
