Is Vatuvei switching to rugby union?

Warriors wing Manu Vatuvei may ask for an early release from his contract at the end of this NRL season.

Vatuvei's manager, Peter Brown says the Warriors veteran is concerned about his body lasting the distance, and among the options were a switch to rugby in Japan or the UK, Super League or even another NRL club.

Vatuvei has been named on the bench for the match against the Penrith Panthers on Saturday.

Round 10 of the NRL will kick off tonight when the Bulldogs meet the Cowboys at 8.50pm while the Dragons will meet the Sharks at 7pm tomorrow.
