Former WBA, IBF and WBO Heavyweight titleholder Anthony Joshua is spending less time looking at his phone due to Wladimir Klitschko’s advice.
Joshua says Klitschko told him not to spend much time on his phone this week ahead of his heavyweight title rematch against Champion Andy Ruiz this Sunday.
Joshua beat Klitschko at Wembley Stadium in 2017 in his defining fight and they have maintained a good relationship and mutual respect ever since.
Joshua says the hard work is done and this is about playing smart and reminding himself on the task at hand.
Joshua was surrounded by former opponents this week - Alexander Povetkin, Eric Molina and Mahammadrasul Majidov are on the undercard and also Dillian Whyte who is one of Joshua's biggest rivals.
Whyte claimed that he told Joshua to win the fight so they can organise a major fight in England.
The boxing program for the second WBA, IBF and WBO title showdown in Saudi Arabia between current world champion Andy Ruiz Jr and former champion Anthony Joshua will start at 6 am this Sunday.
