Nasinu player Jone Naraba has saved the day for Nasinu as he scored the winning goal in the extra time against Navua in the senior division final.

Nasinu beat Navua 2-1.

Both the teams were locked 1-all till the full time.

Nasinu started the second half strongly and managed to get a goal through a brilliant free kick from Anish Kumar as the first half score was nil-all.

Navua refused to stay down and got the equalizer through Netani Doli after a corner kick.

Both teams tried hard to get the winner in tough weather conditions in normal time.

Nasinu Captain Anish Kumar says they struggled a lot as they have limited resources and they have been struggling to the final.

He has thanked the team officials and all the fans.

Kumar says they now want to qualify for the premier division.

Meanwhile, Labasa is currently leading Ba 1-0 in the final of the 2016 Courts IDC.

Lekima Gonerau scored the goal as the game is currently in first half.
