Fijian born Corporal Aveuta Tuila has made his debut at the Invictus Games in Sydney.
Tuila was one of the three soldiers that were badly injured when an improvised explosive device went off under their Land Rover outside Basra on September 11, 2005 which claimed his left leg.
Tuila went through surgery which resulted in a knee-below left leg amputation.
He says that he may have lost his left leg but never his spirit.
Tuila competed in the sitting volleyball tournament for UK against Georgia in the final but UK lost 2 sets to nil.
