Highlanders claim third spot in Super 15

The Highlanders have climbed to second spot in the New Zealand conference and third in the overall Super Rugby standings after bringing the Rebels down by 40 points to 18 in Melbourne.

They have not won in Australia in their last six attempts came out of the blocks firing and completely dominated the Rebels in most facets of the game.

In the other match that was held last night, the Crusaders beat the Chiefs by 34-16.

In tonight’s matches at 7:35pm the Blues meet the Waratahs and at 9:40pm the Reds meet the Bulls.
