Waratahs wing Zac Guildford said he has a point to prove against the Crusaders tonight.
Guilfdord, who featured in 11 tests for the All Blacks and had a successful World Cup campaign in New Zealand has been reinstated to the Waratahs 23‑man team because of an injury to Kurtley Beale.
He played 61 games for the Crusaders since joining them in 2010, but several off‑field incidents saw his career taken away.
Guildford said the Crusaders do like pressure and they will hope to disrupt their plans tonight.
The last victory that the Waratahs had against the Crusaders was in 2004 and they have lost their last seven matches against the Crusaders in New Zealand.
Last time these teams met in Christchurch was in 2013 and the Crusaders won 23 22.
The Crusaders have won 11 of their 12 matches against the Waratahs in Christchurch.
The Crusaders will clash with the Waratahs at 7.35 tonight.
