Veteran Vereniki Goneva needs one try in their Pacific Nations Cup match against Samoa tomorrow to become Fiji's all‑time leading try‑scorer.

He is currently tied with Sanivalati Laulau on 20 tries.

Goneva will start on the wing for the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians.

The 35 year old is back from injury and has been given the nod to start in his first match this season.

This is the 52nd meeting between Fiji and Samoa.

Fiji lead the head‑to‑head 28‑20 with three draws.

Fiji have won the last four meetings since a 30‑30 draw in 2015. Samoa’s last win in the fixture came at ANZ Stadium in 2014. The Flying Fijians face Samoa at 7.15pm tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium. You can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM on 92.2FM.
