The Golden State Warriors have defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 122-103 in game 2 of the NBA Finals.

The Warriors have now taken a 2‑0 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals for the third straight season.

Steph Curry hit five three‑pointers in the fourth quarter to take his tally to nine triples for the game and pass Ray Allen’s NBA Finals record of eight.

Curry hit 9/17 long‑range attempts to finish with 33 points, eight assists and seven rebounds as he led Golden State in scoring for the second consecutive game.

Meanwhile Cavaliers’ LeBron James had another strong game, finishing with 29 points, nine rebounds and 13 assists, but it just wasn't enough.

Game 3 of the NBA finals will be played on Thursday at 1pm.
