Fiji Airways Drua halfback Frank Lomani in action for Fiji Airways Drua

Fiji Airways Drua halfback Frank Lomani is making his mark in the National Rugby Championship and is the front runner for the Flying Fijians halfback position ahead of the November tour.

Lomani who is one of the Under 20 players in the Drua team has developed well after making his debut for the Flying Fijians against Samoa in July.

From round one of the NRC, Lomani has been outstanding with fast delivery of ball from the scrum and base of rucks and his trademark of high and box kick which has been effective for the Drua in their last four games.

Drua coach Senirusi Seruvakula has already told Fijivillage that almost half of his squad will be part of the Northern Tour in November which could include Lomani.

Lomani is expected to go up against Pedro Rolando for the Canberra Vikings.

He is from Argentina and is also the starting halfback for the Brumbies.

The Canberra Vikings will host the Drua at 9.30pm Friday.
