The France Men’s 7s Team have been awarded the UL Mark of Excellence by World Rugby after breaking their 4-year losing streak against Fiji this morning.
France had not beaten Fiji in the HSBC World 7s Series for the past 4 years before their 29-24 win in the Bronze Final this morning.

France captain Jean Pascal Barraque says it was a special moment for him as it was the first time he has ever beaten Fiji.
Fiji and France were locked at 24-24 when Fiji born Tavite Veredamu scored the final try to seal the win for France.
