The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians will be out to improve their 36% win ratio at the Rugby World Cup and also qualify for the quarter-final to either face England, France or Argentina
Fiji has played 28 matches across 7 World Cups winning 10 matches and losing 18.
The national side has played the quarter-final in the 1987 and 2007 editions of the tournament while we played the quarter-final play-offs in 1999.
The Flying Fijians will face a tough battle to secure their spot in the quarter-final as they will come up against Wales who have beaten Fiji in the last two tournaments and are also up against the Wallabies.
If Fiji qualifies from their pool, then we will face England, France or Argentina in the quarter final.
The team is currently in New Zealand as they prepare to face Tonga in their final build-up for the Rugby World Cup.
Coach John McKee had earlier highlighted that they will use this match as a platform to try out their game plan and the combinations that they will be using in their first pool game against the Wallabies.
Fiji faces Tonga at 4.30pm this Saturday at Eden Park.
