Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Coach, John McKee says there won’t be any hard lifting when they go into gym sessions as they need to keep the players free from injuries and fatigue.

With 10 days left for the Rugby World Cup, the players are hitting the gym in Japan preparing for a physical match against the Wallabies next Saturday.

The Flying Fijians were hosted by Varsity Weight Room gym owner, Manasobu Kawamura in their morning gym sessions, where the players did a lot of muscle building and strength work.

McKee says they will also be polishing up a few of their mistakes that have been reoccurring in their previous games such as their ball retention, defence, and mostly their strategy in mauls.

He says they will be working very hard in their mauls, since the Australians forwards are filled with experienced players.

He adds to counter this they need the players to be physically and mentally prepared.

Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales, Georgia, and Uruguay for the Rugby World Cup.

Fiji will take on Australia in their first pool game at 4.45pm next Saturday.
