Flying Fijians await word on winger

The Flying Fijian coaching staff is awaiting word from the medical team on whether winger Nemani Nasiganiyavi will be able to play against Tonga in the second round of the Pacific Nation Cup tomorrow.

Nasiganiyavi has been bracketed with Epeli Ruivadra in the number 11 jumper after the Australian based winger did not take part in training yesterday.

Manager Semi Rogoyawa has confirmed that Nasiganiyavi is sick and will only know whether he will play when the medical team will carry out their checks today.

Rogoyawa added that Iliesa Keresoni is also bracketed with Joe Nasilasila in the reserve bench.

Keresoni is still recovering from a thigh injury he suffered in last weeks game against the Japanese team.
