First season has been a huge learning experience – Gareth Baber

Coach Gareth Baber says his first season in charge of the Vodafone Fiji 7s team has been a huge learning experience but good things come from difficulties.

Reflecting on the team’s performance, Baber says it has been tough because of the mix in the quality of the performance they delivered.

Baber adds they have had some dark moments and found some tough situations but it has all helped grow the team.

The 2017/2018 HSBC World Sevens Series begins in Dubai on the 1st of 2nd December this year.

The Commonwealth Games will be held in Gold Coast, Australia from the 14th to 15th of April next year while the Rugby World Cup Sevens will be held in San Francisco from the 20th to the 22nd of July next year.
