Fijiana squad named for Sydney 7s next weekend

Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s Head Coach Saiasi Fuli has named his travelling Fijiana squad for the HSBC Women’s World Sevens Series Sydney 7s next weekend.

Just four players from the squad that went to Dubai will travel to Sydney with the most notable omission being Litia Naiqato, making way for Raijeli Daveua and Lavenia Tinai to return to the fold.

The travelling squad included Rusila Nagasau, Asinate Savu,  Merewai Cumu, Vasiti Solikoviti, Raijieli Daveua, Lavenia Tinai, Ana Roqica, Tokasa Senibuli, Merewalesi Rokoumu, Luisa Tisolo, Ana Maria Naimasi and Akanisi Sokoiwasa.

This will be the first series leg for the Fijiana Head Coach after stepping into the coaching role last month.

The Fiji Airways Fijiana is pool with Canada, Russia and Ireland in the Sydney 7s next weekend.

They will depart for Sydney on Monday.
