Fijiana make it through to quarter-finals

Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team has qualified to the quarterfinals of the Cape Town 7s after defeating South Africa 27-5 in their last pool match.

Fiji scored five tries, two from Vasiti Solikoviti and a try each from Roela Radiniyavuni, Asinate Serevi and Lavenia Tinai.

South Africa’s only try came from Nadine Ross.

Fiji led South Africa 17-0 at half-time.

Viniana Riwai was also shown a yellow card for a high tackle offence.

Fijiana 7s will take on Australia at 9:12pm today in the second quarter final.
