Fijiana 7s team has a chance to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games

The Fijiana 7s team has a chance to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games in the Olympic Qualifiers which will be held here in Fiji in November this year.

If the Fijiana 7s side still fails to book a ticket to Japan, they will have the final opportunity for Olympic qualification at the World Rugby Olympic Repechage tournament in the first half of 2020 which will feature 12 Women’s and Men’s teams.

But there is some good news as Fiji has secured their place as a core team on the 2020 HSBC World Rugby Women’s series for the next season.

The New Zealand, USA, Canada and Australia women’s teams have qualified for the Olympic Games.

The Olympic Games will be held in Japan from July to August next year.
