Fijian Drua captain John Stewart says they are ready for their first game of the Australian National Rugby Championship in Brisbane this Saturday.
Stewart and the 26 member travelling squad of the Fijian Drua presented their i-Tatau to the President Jioji Konrote at Borron House this afternoon
The former Sunwolves winger says he has confidence in the players that have been selected and believes the players are excited to be part of this historic team.
Coach Senirusi Seruvakula says he is honored to lead the first Fijian Drua team to participate in the NRC.
Seruvakula adds that Fiji has a good chance to finish in the top four.
He adds that five players who are currently with the Under 20 side in Uruguay will join the team at the end of next month after the World Junior Trophy.
Meanwhile President Jioji Konrote reminded the team about the importance of being part of the historic event and being part of rugby development in Fiji.
Konrote told the players to enjoy their game and work as a team.
The Fijian Drua will depart for Brisbane this Wednesday and will take on Brisbane City at 5pm this Saturday at Ballymore Stadium.
