The Fiji Basketball women’s team have lost their second game to Lebanon 90-48 in the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup 2017 competition.
After a slow start, Fiji picked up their scoring effort only being outscored by 3 in the second quarter.
The addition of Mili Koyamainavure changed the look of the Fiji side, moving the ball more efficiently and get out on the break.
Koyamainavure scored a total of 13 points and 7 rebounds where Seini Dobui added 12 points of her own.
With the full team now assembled in Bengaluru, Fiji will look to keep improving and see if they can challenge Kazakhstan and notch their first win of the event.
Fiji is currently playing Kazakhstan in their third game.
